MORGAN IS A 19 YEAR OLD SENIOR AT LEWISBURG HIGH SCHOOL IN OLIVE BRANCH, MS AND HAS DOWN SYNDROME BUT THAT DOES NOT STOP OR DEFINE HER. SHE IS VERY ACTIVE IN SPECIAL OLYMPICS, COMPETITIVE CHEER, BEST BUDDIES AND LOVES MUSIC. WHILE IT MAY TAKE HER A MINUTE LONGER, SHE CAN DO ALL THINGS SHE SETS HER MIND TO.
OSPREY Village is a South Carolina nonprofit corporation founded in July, 2008, by parents of adults with developmental disabilities. OSPREY Village is developing an “inclusive residential neighborhood with a purpose” that will provide individualized services for adults with special needs. The Village will be an intergenerational community that is open to anyone who would like to have the opportunity to interact and live in a “neighbor helping neighbor” village.
