Meet Aunt Laurie's New Therapy Dog Partner!

Introducing Aunt Laurie's new certified therapy dog, Jack! Jack is a beautiful black labrador retriever that is Aunt Laurie's new partner. They are now certified through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, Inc., a nationwide organization sharing canines to spread smiles and joy for over 30 years!

Parris Island Marine Base - Beaufort, South Carolina

As a team Jack and Aunt Laurie have begun making special visits to Parris Island, the local marine base in Beaufort, South Carolina. During these visits, they meet, greet, and cheer up the injured marine recruits. It's a very rewarding visit and the marines look forward to the therapy dog visits.

 

Therapy Dog Visits

Jack and Aunt Laurie will also visit airports, make presentations to help others learn of the benefits of therapy dogs, visit libraries to help children learn to read, visit local colleges to calm the students, visit nursing homes, attend charity and community events, and many other activities.
