Every gift basket is hand picked and our baskets are actually handwoven, so your gift is personal, not commercial. Our goal is to make the purchasing experience easy, fun, and fast. We work hard to build customer loyalty. We’ll have some fun with cool offers and games, so make sure you keep in contact.
We promise to continually offer new and different products and collections based on direct feedback from our customers. We are committed to listening and learning. We are committed to using local, South Carolina products, and supporting small businesses in the low country. This excites us, as the more products our customers ask for, the more special people we can help provide new opportunity to work. We will all feel good together!
We promise to help you as well. If you need help finding or building a custom gift basket for raffles, we are more the happy to help. Raffle gift baskets are common and a favorite for auctions and events. Our gift baskets are not like the typical cheap gift baskets, so they sell very well. Since Aunt Laurie’s offers gift basket delivery, we will help with and offer gift delivery ideas. Just give us a call if you need help!
We promise to help with gift basket ideas too. We really love putting together beach house hostess gifts, as Aunt Laurie’s specializes in local unique Hilton Head gifts, Low country gifts and South Carolina gift baskets. We also offer college gifts, so check out our Clemson gift baskets and Michigan Wolverines gift baskets too! Aunt Laurie is from Michigan, so she likes supporting the Wolverines!
Laurie Brown is the founder and owner of Aunt Laurie’s, where she oversees all aspects of the business and manages the working relationship with the South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department in Beaufort, where the gift baskets are handwoven and assembled.
Having spent nearly 30 years in a corporate leadership and management role at General Motors and the Volkswagen Group of America in the Detroit area, Laurie moved to South Carolina in 2014 and was inspired to launch Aunt Laurie’s to fulfill her long standing, God given passion for helping individuals with disabilities.
Additionally, Laurie is a big dog lover and longtime supporter of the Leader Dogs for the Blind organization. She also has a goal to donate a portion of Aunt Laurie’s profits to the organization. She and her golden retriever, Trapper, are certified through Therapy Dogs International and regularly visit nursing homes, libraries, schools and special organizations to comfort the lonely, ill and disabled.
A graduate of Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan, Laurie also holds a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management and Leadership and Executive Strategy Certification from Notre Dame. She and her husband, Bob, live in the South Carolina low country and also own Sunburst Homes, Inc., a residential redevelopment company focused on improving housing in neighborhoods and communities.
